Cardiology Services
Diagnostic cardiac catherizations are performed in the hospital's progressively equipped cardiac catheterization laboratory.  We are able to conduct minimally invasive procedures, such as cardiac catheterizations, to treat a wide-range of clinical problems, including Renal Stenosis and Peripheral Vascular Disease (PVD), as well as diagnosing carotid disease, abdominal aortic aneurysms and other PVDs.  We also offer a broad range of diagnostic testing including stress testing, EKG's, 24-hour holter monitoring and treadmills which are offered through Cardiopulmonary Services.

Pain Management
Chronic pain is pain that you experience for a long period of time. It may be mild or severe and affect your entire life, socially as well as physically. Relief of pain, totally or partially, allows you to live a more tolerable life without depression or the use of narcotics. Your physician can refer you to one of the chronic pain treatment physicians.

Diagnostic Imaging/Radiology
The Imaging/Radiology Department at Community Hospital has a convenient, separate entrance on High Street.  We provide a full range of outpatient services including: MRI, MRA, CT, Virtual Colonoscopy, CT Myelogram, Nuclear Medicine, Mammography, Ultrasound, Echo, and general diagnostic imaging/X-Ray.

Emergency Department
Staffed by a team of highly skilled physicians and nurses who are experienced in treating emergencies and patients of every size. The department is equipped to handle everything from major illnesses and injuries to less serious medical concerns that require immediate care. We also offer a Fast Track service for all those minor problems that may affect you and your family - from a fever, to cuts that need stitches, to bumps, bruises, sprains and strains.

Endoscopy
A fully equipped Endoscopy area for special procedures related to pulmonary and gastrointestinal interventions.  We also offer Capsule Endoscopy, which enables your doctor to examine the full length of your small intestine through a vitamin pill sized camera you swallow enabling the patient to go about their normal daily activities.  While the camera travels through your body, images are sent to a data recorder you wear on a waist belt.  Afterwards, your doctor will review the images on a video monitor.  Quick, painless and convenient!

Oncology  & Gynecological Oncology
Community Hospital has the only Gynecological Oncologist in the Pasco, Hernando and Citrus Counties. In addition to Colorectal Surgeons, Genernal Vascular Surgeons and Urologists we also have Certified Oncology/Chemotherapy Nurses and a variety of Outpatient Technologies to assist your Oncologist with the diagnosis and treatment of cancer. 

Orthopaedics
The orthopaedic team at Community Hospital includes board certified orthopaedic surgeons that specialize in arthroscopy, joint replacement, spine and reconstructive surgery.   

Outpatient Rehabilitation Therapy
Rehabilitative treatment and services are available to hospitalized patients and on an outpatient basis. Services include Physical Therapy, Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy covering a wide range of neurological, orthopedic, medical and surgical conditions.

The Behavioral Health Center
The Behavioral Health Center provides the Pasco, Hernando and Northern Pinellas Counties with the only psychiatric program located in an acute medical setting. The inpatient unit is able to care for adults 18 and over with special attention given to issues of the geriatric population.

Vascular Services
Community Hospital is a comprehensive provider of major vascular services which include a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, Vascular Ultrasound, Vascular Arteriography, Vascular Angioplasty/Stents and Vascular Surgical Interventions
